NEW CALL FOR THE P2P EXCHANGE PROGRAMME BETWEEN CREATIVE HUBS!
Creative FLIP project announces the second round of its peer-to-peer exchange and mobility scheme for creative hubs from across the European continent and its neighborhood!
The programme is aimed at engaging peers from creative hubs with the idea:
The open call for the second round is open to all creative hubs from the eligible countries (EU MS, Creative Europe countries and ENP countries). 40 exchanges will be supported through this call, while the planned period for their realisation is between 16 March and 12 June 2020. The applications are submitted by teams – a hub manager in cooperation with a hub member.
A total of 160 individuals will directly benefit from working with/in a different creative hub, as well as from the mutual learning experiences. Through the exchange and at least one public activity, the program will engage not only the participating hub members but also their entire communities, as well as the wider audience, with as many as 1.000 people involved in various activities within Creative FLIP’s P2P scheme. A selection of the best five models/prototypes/ideas/formats from both rounds of the P2P scheme will be presented during the closing conference of the project in the first half of 2021!
Background
The first round of the P2P exchange was announced in June 2019, and aimed exclusively at members of the European Creative Hubs Network. Ten initial exchanges were realised, connecting hubs from Italy, Turkey, Slovenia, Croatia, Ireland, the UK, Portugal, Spain, Moldova, Italy, Sweden and France. A number of workshops and educational events were held as part of the exchanges in October and November 2019. The participants’ feedback was extremely positive, with 100% of them stating they would apply again for such an opportunity.

The format
The applications are submitted by teams – a
hub manager in cooperation with a hub member, via an online form. The applying
hub will be administratively responsible for the application, and will be
inviting a member of their respective community to join the exchange and match
with the hosting hub and their community. A team can apply as a visiting
hub (the one travelling to another hub), while any hub can also apply
as a hosting
hub(in this case, Creative
FLIP will do its best to match it with an appropriate visiting hub). In
general, hubs can pre-match with another hub and suggest an exchange, or can
request support from the Creative FLIP project team in finding a match. Hubs
who participated in the first P2P round in 2019 are also eligible, as long as
they do not propose the same matches.
The traveling beneficiaries will also get involved with the wider creative
eco-system in the hosting hubs’ cities, with the support of the hosting hub.
Peers are encouraged to spend four to five full working days in the hosting
creative hub. The hub leaders will be empowered to jointly set up cooperation
projects, or more specifically, to initiate cooperation projects of their
respective hub users.
A work plan of the entire exchange is due to be developed by both hubs and presented to Creative FLIP before the start of the exchange. Visiting and hosting hub alike commit to jointly implement one public or community event. This may be a talk, a one-day workshop, a presentation, a lecture or similar activities. Beneficiaries will be asked to inform the Creative FLIP team about any resulting projects.

Selection results will be announced by 15 February 2020.
Administrative and budget logistics will be handled over the course of March, while the timeframe for the realisation of exchanges is between 15 March and 15 June 2020. Beneficiaries will be responsible for organising and booking their own travel and accommodation, within the set budget limits.
A budget of 1.000 or 1.100 EUR per person is available for the visiting team, depending on the duration of the exchange. This should cover travel, accommodation and subsistence costs. A budget of 400 or 700 EUR is available for each hosting hub, depending on whether the event they will produce is an internal community event for the hub members only, or a public event open to general audience.
